Bat House Building Workshop
Native bats are nocturnal insectivores that spend their evenings chowing down on insects, including mosquitoes and other pest species. Building a bat house will encourage bats to roost near your home, a natural, DIY form of pest control! Join us to learn all about bats and build your very own bat house to take home. Supplies are included, but please bring your own hammer. Space is limited.

Homeschool Teacher Workshop: Growing Up WILD

Night Hike Under the Stars!

Explore the stars as you experience the sights and sounds of the Zoo at night during this exciting nocturnal adventure! The evening will begin in the Discovery Center with a special presentation by the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust PLANETARIUM from Seminole State College. Fascinating nightlife will come to light as we venture into the Zoo for a guided flashlight tour, up close animal encounters, and an opportunity to explore the night sky through a planetarium telescope. This is a great program for families, but because it is a late-night program, children must be five years or older to attend. Check-in begins at 7:00 p.m. and the program ends at 10:00 p.m. Registration and payment required. Space is limited. Children must be at least five years old to participate.

Spring Break Camps
The Zoo’s spring break camps have been designed to provide our campers with a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate program. To promote teamwork and provide the best experience for all campers, please register children according to the age they will be while participating in spring break camp. The Zoo reserves the right to move campers into camps appropriate for their age level. We encourage campers to experience a variety of camps. Repeating camps are the same.

Presidents' Day Camp
Presidents’ Day Camp – Going WILD!
We’re going WILD at the Zoo with an all-day adventure for kids ages 6-12 that includes the Seminole Aerial Adventure Course! Experience ziplining through the trees, meeting some amazing animals up close, and a variety of fun activities, including exploring the Zoo!

Campers will have the opportunity to participate in our Seminole Aerial Adventures zipline course. We offer two different courses for campers: the Uplands Course and the Kids' Course. You may choose which zipline course your camper will to participate in, provided that they meet the following height requirements:
  • If your camper is between 54 - 60 inches tall, you may choose either the Kids' Course or the Uplands Course.
  • If your camper is less than 54" tall, they will only be allowed to participate in the Kids' Course.
  • If your camper is above 60" tall, they will only be allowed to participate in the Upland Course.

Cub Club
Join us at the Zoo this summer for our exciting preschool series for children ages 2-5. The Cub Club program is an imaginative way to share the marvelous world of animals with your child while engaging in an active lifestyle together. Choose from a variety of fun animal-themed series and enjoy meeting live animals up close, interactive activities, and creating a special craft. One adult per every two children is required. Adults are responsible for participating along with the registered child. Zoo admission is separate and not required to attend. Siblings under 2 are free with paid child.
